Clay County Park & Milford Lake offer more than 15,000 acres of water and are a favorite destination for anglers and water enthusiasts.

For a quieter outdoor adventure, take a hike through the Kansas Landscape Arboretum. The trails wind through woodlands, meadows, wetlands, and native prairie, making it a beautiful place to walk, explore, and enjoy nature.

Experience Longford

Make plans to attend the Longford PRCA Rodeo over Labor Day weekend. The rodeo takes place at the Longford Rodeo Grounds, continuing a tradition that brings thousands of visitors to town.

While you're in Longford, check out the town's murals and other local attractions—or take a tour of the Longford Water bottling plant.

In Clay Center, take a self-guided tour of the community's many murals. With more than 30 murals throughout town, the Clay Center Mural Movement has become a destination of its own.

Families can visit Utility Park & Zoo, a longtime favorite, or head over to Dexter Park for a game of pickleball and swing sets. During the summer, the Clay Center Aquatic Park is another fun way to cool off.
